13 Nonprofits to Support Mental Health Organizations

March 29, 2024 by Giving Assistant Editorial Team

Sharing resources, raising awareness, and developing tools to support mental health benefits everyone. As Mental Health America notes, “while 1 in 5 people will experience a mental illness during their lifetime, everyone faces challenges in life that can impact their mental health.”

We’ve been sharing one such challenge around the globe. The pandemic has shown the importance of finding ways to take care of each other and support our own mental health. Now more than ever, we need to break the stigma of seeking help and enable access to mental health treatment and education.

With that in mind, we’re spotlighting 13 mental health nonprofits who make a difference in this effort every day, and whose work is crucial given the heightened distress of this crisis.
