1. National Parks Foundation (NPF) Partnership
Free People supports several nonprofits and directly gives to the National Parks Foundation, and you can too with Giving Assistant!
In 2020, FP donated $100,000 to the Foundation.
The Free People Women’s Service Corp also participated in NPF’s Women in Parks initiative and served over 26,000 hours to restore Great Basin National Park.

2. FP Bag Program

Free People commits to broadening the availability of eco-conscious products, including their Econyl Collection, which uses 100% regenerated nylon created with waste collected from landfills and oceans. For every 10,000 tons of Econyl raw material, 70,000 barrels of crude oil are saved, and 57,100 tons of CO2-equivalent emissions are avoided.
4. Partnerships with Sustainable Brands
FP will increase partnerships and collaborations with brands making products with eco-conscious fabrics, like Levi’s Water<Less® jeans, which have saved more than 4.2 billion liters of water saved from their denim finishing process since 2011!
5. Community Impact
Free People hosts numerous community events with their partners and held their first World Cleanup Day in 2020, generating over 1,000 hours of community impact and collecting 3,000 pounds of trash.
