What could be better than shopping at one of your favorite stores, getting great deals, and supporting a local non-profit organization at the same time? Not much. Lord & Taylor agrees, and with their #ShopSmartDoGood campaign, you can do all three!
How does Shop Smart, Do Good work?
The idea is simple. Lord & Taylor hosts an all day shopping event in support of local non-profits on October 3rd, 2015. These organizations sell up to 200 tickets to their communities to be used at certain Lord & Taylor stores. Each $5 ticket includes two 25% bonus coupons as well as a 15% savings pass to be used throughout the day of the event, including cosmetics and fragrances. The event features some of the best discounts of the season, local entertainment, as well as fun activities while you shop. The most important part? ALL ticket proceeds (that’s right, ALL) go back to the organizations. On top of that, the organizations with the highest ticket sales will be awarded additional prizes. Last year, non-profits collectively raised over $600,000. Organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and Relay for Life are just two of hundreds that have benefitted from Lord & Taylor’s #ShopSmartDoGood campaign.
Additionally, Lord & Taylor will also host Charity Day: Let’s Do Something Good Together, an all-day shopping event this fall that will include a fashion presentation celebrating the spirit and beauty of those who have survived cancer while modeling looks from Lord & Taylor’s fall fashion collections. “We are thrilled to be supporting American Cancer Society and local charities to raise funds and celebrate amazing individuals who have battled cancer,” said Liz Rodbell, President, Hudson’s Bay and Lord & Taylor. “Lord & Taylor is so pleased to play a part in raising awareness of these important organizations in their local communities.”
