Kombucha takes between 7 to 30 days to fully ferment and varies according to your taste preference and temperature as to how quickly the kombucha will ferment.

How Long Does Kombucha Last?

Kombucha will last about three months once opened and exposed to air. If you are bottling it yourself make sure to drink it within 3 months.

Does Kombucha Go Bad?

No kombucha does not go bad it will just loss it’s flavor and become more vinegary in taste over time. Plus the naturally-occurring live and active cultures will not last forever.

Can You Get Drunk on Kombucha?

Yes you can get drunk drinking enough homemade kombucha. Commercial kombucha that is sold has less than 0.5% alcohol content so you won’t get drunk on store bought kombucha.
